Privacy policy

The PEI Snowmobile Association collects only the information it needs to sell trail permits, run its programs and answer your questions. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• When you buy a permit: your name, mailing address, email, phone, and each sled's make, model, year and registration or VIN.
• For vintage permits and the family discount: copies of registrations and permits you upload.
• When you fill in a form: the details you enter.
• Basic website analytics, such as pages visited and the links you click.

Payments

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed by Square. PEISA never sees or stores your full card number. Interac e-Transfers go to payments@peisa.ca.

How we use it

To issue and mail your permit, confirm vintage eligibility, process discounts, and send permit reminders if you sign up for them. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

How long we keep it

Permit records are kept for the current season plus the years required for tax and audit purposes, then deleted.
